Privacy Policy

Effective

Part107 Central is built to be used without giving up any personal information. We do not run accounts, we do not ask for your email, and we do not set tracking cookies. This policy describes exactly what happens to data when you use the site, and it only describes things we actually do.

Who we are

Part107 Central is an independent study resource operated by Urban Algorithm LLC. We are the publisher and the data controller for this site. You can reach us through the Urban Algorithm contact page.

What we do not collect

Your tool inputs stay on your device

The sectional chart drill, the practice bank, and the renewal-window checker all run in your browser. What you enter, your answers, your certificate or last- recurrent month and year, and any settings, is processed on your device and is not sent to us as identifiable information. There is no account, so there is no server-side copy of your inputs to request or delete.

Anonymous aggregate statistics we do collect

We want to be plain about this, because it is the one thing that does leave your device. So that we can see whether the tools are useful and publish honest aggregate insights later, the tools send a small, anonymous, banded event when you complete an interaction. These events contain only coarse buckets drawn from our own catalog, for example which sectional-chart symbol was missed, a score band, or a renewal-window band such as "due soon". They never contain your exact answers, your certificate date, free text, name, email, or any identifier, and no single event can be traced back to you.

Because of this, we do not claim that "nothing leaves your device." A coarse, anonymous summary does. What never leaves is anything that could identify you or reconstruct exactly what you entered.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool we host ourselves. It is cookieless and collects anonymized data only: it does not set cookies, does not fingerprint you, and does not build a cross-site profile. The anonymous tool events above are recorded through the same self-hosted, cookieless setup. No analytics data is sold or handed to an advertising network.

Affiliate links

Where a course-referral link exists (for example to Pilot Institute or UAV Coach), it is disclosed at the point it appears, per FTC guidance. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to that company's own site, which applies its own privacy policy we do not control. We do not pass any personal information to those sites.

This site links to official FAA pages (faa.gov, faadronezone.gov, faasafety.gov) so you can always read the authoritative source. Those sites apply their own privacy policies.

Third-party hosting

Like any website, our host and content-delivery network process the standard server request data (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the page to you. This is ordinary web infrastructure, is not used by us to profile you, and is not combined with any other data about you.

Children

This is a professional study resource intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and in fact we do not collect personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, we will update this page and move the effective date above. Because we start from collecting nothing personal, any change would only ever be described here in the same plain terms.
